Nancy Benz Froelich is the principal of Meadow Lake Elementary. Principal Froelich started her teaching career in 1989 in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. She then spent 15 years in Robbinsdale Schools as a classroom teacher, teaching various grade levels. She also served as an Instructional Assistant and Math Mentor in the Robbinsdale Area Schools. Prior to this, she was a principal and assistant principal in Westonka and Eden Prairie Schools. Principal Froelich received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and her Principal Licensure were obtained from Hamline University. Principal Froelich also received the distinguished honor of leading a school to the Blue Ribbon School Award. Principal Froelich is honored to serve the Meadow Lake Elementary Community.
Shannon Lacy is in her second year as the Assistant Principal at Meadow Lake. Shannon has worked at Meadow Lake for more than twenty years and has had many different roles over the years. She worked at Adventure Club back in the day, then moved into the classroom and taught 5th and 3rd grade. After that she became the PBIS coordinator for a number of years and the MTSS Behavior Support person before becoming Assistant Principal.
