Message From Our Principals

Dear Meadow Lake Families,

We are excited to celebrate our incredible staff during Staff Appreciation Week, May 4–May 8! We encourage families to take a moment to reach out to a Meadow Lake staff member who has made a positive impact on your child’s school year. Your kind words truly mean a lot and are greatly appreciated.

Our 3rd–5th grade students recently completed their MCA assessments with great effort and determination. We are so proud of their hard work and perseverance! Families will receive student results in the fall.

Last week, our Math Masters students represented Meadow Lake at the Regional Math Masters Tournament. Math Masters is a club designed for students who enjoy mathematics and want to strengthen their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We are proud of all the students who participated and thank them for their dedication and effort.

As we approach the end of the school year, students have begun participating in screening assessments in both reading and math. These assessments provide valuable information that helps us tailor instruction to meet each student’s individual learning needs.

One of the assessments we use is FASTBridge, a screening tool for students in grades K–5. FASTBridge helps identify students who may need additional support and allows us to monitor progress over time to ensure those supports are effective.

At Meadow Lake, the safety of our students, staff, and visitors is always a top priority. In the coming weeks, we will conduct evacuation drills to ensure everyone is prepared and knows how to respond in case of an emergency.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support!

Warm regards,
Principal Lacy & Principal Azure
