Countdown to Summer: End-of-Year Celebrations at Meadow Lake!

As summer draws near, Meadow Lake Elementary is buzzing with excitement! We have a full calendar of events to celebrate our students' hard work and the wonderful year we've shared. Mark your calendars and get ready to join the fun as we count down to summer together!

📅 May 14 – 4th Grade Field Trip to the Science Museum
Our 4th graders will explore and discover at the Science Museum! Parent chaperones are welcome — we’d love your help in making this day extra special.

📅 May 15 – Meadow Lake Medley Family Night
Join us for a joyful evening of music, fun, and community spirit as we celebrate our Meadow Lake family!

📅 May 20-23 – Fire Safety Training with West Metro Fire Department
Students will participate in important, hands-on fire safety lessons with our local heroes from the fire department.

📅 May 23 – Grade Level End-of-Year Assemblies
Each grade will come together to celebrate achievements and share memories from a fantastic school year.

📅 May 29 – Super Fun Kids Day
One of our favorite days of the year is back! Stay tuned — more details will be shared in our May 19 parent newsletter.

📅 May 29 – Kindergarten Plant Mobile Visit
Our kindergarteners will enjoy a fun and educational visit from the Plant Mobile, bringing the magic of plants and nature right to MLE.

📅 May 30 – 1:00 PM - 5th Grade Moving On Ceremony
Help us celebrate our 5th graders as they prepare to take their next big step into middle school. Families are warmly invited to attend!

📅 June 2 at 12:30 PM – Kindergarten Moving On Ceremony
Join us as we cheer on our kindergarteners moving up to 1st grade — a special milestone worth celebrating!

📅 June 3 – MLE Student Talent Show
Get ready to be amazed by the incredible talents of our students during this lively and entertaining shows!

📅 June 4 – 5th Grade Field Trip to Cinema Grill & Last Day of School
Our 5th graders will enjoy a celebratory field trip, and we’ll bid farewell to all our students as they head into summer break.

Lost and Found Clean-Up Reminder
Our Lost and Found is overflowing! Please stop by and check for any missing items. All unclaimed belongings will be donated after the last day of school — let’s get those jackets, water bottles, and lunchboxes back home!
