Message From Our Principals

Welcome back! We hope everyone had a relaxing and refreshing Spring Break. Our students returned on Monday, April 7, and it’s been wonderful to see their smiling faces back in the building. The energy in our classrooms has been fantastic as students jump back into learning routines, engage in group projects, and enjoy reconnecting with their classmates and teachers. As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we’re excited for the continued growth, learning, and celebrations ahead.

Second Step Problem Solving Assembly – April 17

On Thursday, April 17, we will host a Second Step Problem Solving Assembly for all students in grades K–5. This assembly is part of our ongoing social-emotional learning efforts to equip students with the tools they need to make thoughtful, respectful decisions. The focus this month is on problem solving—how to think through challenges, make safe and respectful choices, and consider the perspectives of others. We are proud of how our students continue to grow in their emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills!

Quarter 3 Attendance Recognition

During the assembly, we’ll also celebrate students who had excellent attendance during Quarter 3. We are proud to recognize approximately 204 students who have missed no more than 2 days of school this past quarter! These students will be awarded attendance certificates as a way to honor their commitment to being present, engaged, and ready to learn each day. Great attendance helps students build strong learning habits and stay connected to their school community—thank you for supporting your children in making school a priority!

Celebrate What Makes You You

This week, we’re embracing the powerful message:
“Being different isn’t a bad thing—it means you’re brave enough to be yourself.”

Every child in our school is unique, and that’s something we celebrate every day. Whether it’s the way they solve a math problem, the stories they write, the friends they choose, or the hobbies they love—being true to yourself is a form of bravery. When students feel accepted and valued for who they are, they thrive both academically and emotionally. Please continue to encourage your child to embrace their individuality, celebrate what makes them special, and appreciate those differences in others. Our diversity makes our school stronger.

Thank you for your continued support. Let’s finish the year strong—together!
