Attention all incoming 6th grade students and their families. Plymouth Middle School is holding their annual incoming 6th grade preview night (for current 5th graders). Join us on Thursday, May1st from 6pm-7:30pm at PMS. Meet teachers and staff, tour the building and get ready to join the middle school community.

The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) are statewide tests in reading, math and science, used to measure student progress towards Minnesota's academic standards. Meadow Lake students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade will take these tests April 15 and 16. Please make sure your students arrive on time for school on these days with a good night's sleep. If you have any questions, please reach out to your student's teacher or the school office at 763-504-7700.

As we move into the final stretch of the school year, we want to encourage our Meadow Lake Elementary families to help keep the momentum going! With longer days and warmer weather, it's natural for students to become more distracted, but staying engaged in learning will help them finish the year strong. Spring break is just around the corner, from March 31st to April 4th, with students returning to school on Monday, April 7, 2025. While we hope everyone takes this time to relax and recharge, we also encourage families to incorporate fun and educational activities into their break. Here are a few ways to keep young minds active.

On March 26 at Meadow Lake Elementary School from 5:30pm-7:30pm we will have a community meeting as we reimagine our Rdale Schools for our Vision 2030 campaign. We want your input as we plan for the future of Rdale.

March is I Love To Read Month at Meadow Lake. We will have themes each day to help make reading exciting for our students. Check out the calendar below for the full schedule. Most days will be classroom events but there will be 4 dress up days throughout the month. Plus our Scholastic Book Fair will be open to families on our parent conferences nights for you to shop for books for your students.
