The MN Twins mascot TC Bear visited Meadow Lake Elementary last week and shared an important message about mental health and wellness with our 2nd-5th grade students. Our students had fun and learned a lot too!  

Just a reminder that everyone at Meadow Lake is eligible to participate in our Every Meal program to get a bag of non-perishable foods sent home with your student each week. If you are not currently enrolled in the program but would like to participate, please fill out this form. Join us for Meadow Lake’s Fall Family Night: Out of This World! From 5:00-6:00pm students can create a variety of space book themed crafts. At 6:00 the 5th grade students are performing a musical!

Ahoy Meadow Lake Families! Our 5th graders are thrilled to present Pirates! The Musical by John Jacobsen and Roger Emerson. With lively music, fun speaking parts and singing solos, the students can't wait to share their hard work and excitement with you ! Join us after Family Night on November 13th, 2025 in the West Gym. The show begins promptly at 6:00pm. Please arrive with your child by 5:50pm so we can get everyone ready and settled before the program begins. See you there!

As a reminder, students go outside for recess every day in the winter as long as temperature is above 0 degrees. As the weather turns colder, we want to ensure all students are warm and comfortable this winter. If your student needs winter clothing please contact Heather our Social Worker at 763-504-7763 or Heather_Veglahn@rdale.org. 

Celebrate with Robbinsdale American Indian Education at our annual Round Dance on November 21st from 5:30pm-8:00pm at Robbinsdale Middle School. There will be dancers, drummers, food and more! This is a free event and everyone is welcome. Click HERE to view the full event flyer. 

Help raise funds for Meadow Lake Elementary with the new Box Tops For Education App. Click "read more" below, open the flyer and scan the QR code to set up the app. Then simply scan your grocery store receipts and 10 cents will be donated to Meadow Lake's PTO for every item you purchased with the Box Tops For Education Logo! Its simple and fast and a great way to raise funds for our school!

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced that the Federal Government shutdown will affect SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits. We know this may create concern for some in our community, and we want to share resources that can help.

Robbinsdale Area Schools administration shared updated recommendations for building closures and facility repurposing at the Nov. 3 Board of Education meeting, marking another step forward in Phase I of Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 and the district’s plan to address its statutory operating debt (SOD).
