The Ms. Lehn Story
(Retold by Mrs. Klimes)
Ms. Lehn has been at Meadow Lake for 10 years. She taught 4th
Grade in Rooms 29 and 33 before changing to 3rd
and teaching in Rooms 5 and 2 and at Olson School. She says we
used to have a shorter first recess and then a 15 minute second recess
in the afternoon. She also remembers when students used to be able
to earn “Eagle Bucks” that they could cash in for prizes. Here
she is when she used to teach 4th

Janelle Lindberg attended Meadow Lake Elementary as a child. After she graduated from college, she was hired to teach at Meadow
Lake. This was her first grade class in 1996. Miss Lindberg
was the daughter of school secretary, Cheryl Lindberg. Miss
Lindberg died suddenly in May of 1996, at the young age of 24 from a
brain aneurysm. The staff and students were very saddened by the loss of
this wonderful teacher and friend.
